Amy Browne

Associate Producer

Amy grew up in Melbourne, Australia. She moved to New York City at 19, after studying business at University, to pursue her love of film and theater. There she studied for three years at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and afterwards decided to continue her education at The New School University. She has now moved into producing and directing and has completed five of her own short films.

For the past three years Amy has been producing and co-directing a feature documentary on green burials – the environmental movement in the funeral industry – called A WILL FOR THE WOODS, to be released later this year. Most recently she has been working with producer Steve Holmgren and his company Steady Orbits to produce innovative fiction and documentary films.
